Itinerary
Cruise for 8 days/ 7 nights through the southern Adriatic Sea. Discover the beautiful Dubrovnik and the neighbouring islands. Lay on deck take sunbath; admire the amazing scenic views whilst the cruise takes you through the waters. Soak up the sun on deck; admire the views as you cruise through the sparkling waters.
Day 1: Sunday DUBROVNIK
We starting cruising at 13.00 pm from Gruz harbour, lunch will then be served soon after. Our first night will be spent in Dubrovnik, a distinctive town on the Adriatic. The charming building of this town takes you back in time, you will witness what is remained from the old Dubrovnik Republic. The eye catching Gothic style traces can be seen in the architecture of the monuments. Ensure to use the afternoon wisely and explore to the city walls and make a plan for the last night of the cruise where we will be heading back to this amazing city.
Overnight in Dubrovnik.
Day 2: Monday DUBROVNIK – MLJET
After breakfast we continue our cruise in the direction of the island and national park Mljet. Lunch will be served on board. Today you will have the whole afternoon to your own leisure enjoy the island soak up the sun. The National Park is where the salt lakes are, you can see the old church and abbey in the middle of the large lake. You can even use a small boat if you wish to wander around the park. Some of you may want to keep active so why not hire a bike and go through the pathways surrounded by wonderful lakes of Croatia.
Overnight in port Polaca/Pomena.
Day 3: Tuesday MLJET – KORCULA
We head off towards Korcula during breakfast. In front of Lumbarda bay is where you will enjoy your lunch today. We arrive in Korcula after midday where everyone is free to go sightseeing. Encircled by prehistoric walls and fortified bastions Korcula’s old town is very well preserved with its layout and structure taking you back to the 13th century.
Overnight in port.
Day 4: Wednesday KORCULA – HVAR ISLAND
Scedro (little island) is our first stop today in the morning. You will be able to relax and take a dip in the fresh blue sea waters. We head to Hvar after lunch. Hvar is largest of islands in Croatia, there are original cathedrals and is known to have the oldest community theatre in the whole of Europe which was founded in 1612. Hvar can be described as the jet set island, with plenty of bars and restaurants open all night.
Day 5: Thursday HVAR - TRSTENIK
We leave Hvar behind and cruise towards the small village/harbour Trstenik on Peljesac peninsula. This is where the afternoon and evening will be spent. You will have your delicious lunch on board and can swim in the sea at your own leisure. The coastal area of the town are covered by groves, ideal place for swimming. The famed Grgic winery is located here – have a walk and taste some of their fine wines!
Day 6: Friday TRSTENIK – SIPAN ISLAND
We depart early in the morning today to continue our way to Elafiti islands (west of Dubrovnik). This area has a small group of islands which include Sipan, Lopud and Kolocep (Kalamota). This area is popular with tourists because it has amazing sandy beaches and scenery. We will have lunch and swimming break at one of smaller Elafiti islands. The largest island of the Elafiti is Sipan which is furthest away from Dubrovnik. We will spend our night here.
Day 7: Saturday SIPAN ISLAND – DUBROVNIK
We will depart early to head back to Dubrovnik with breakfast on the way. Now is the time to sit back, unwind and enjoy the mesmerising sites of the nature along the way towards “the heaven on earth” - according to the famous writer George Bernard Shaw (lunch will be served in between). We will approximately arrive back to Dubrovnik around 14.00pm, you will have the afternoon to go for a swim or explore the town of Dubrovnik. You can either solely explore yourselves or you do have the option to join our guided tour. Go through Stradun and promenade inside the city walls. If you fancy a walk we suggest a walk on top of the 1940m long city walls or take a cable car ride to top of Srd Mountain to get scenic views of the old city!
Overnight in the GRUZ port of this exquisite town.
Day 8: Sunday DUBROVNIK
Today we say goodbye after an early breakfast and disembark the cruise.
