Upon your arrival in Athens, you’ll be collected at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Athens at the four-star Novotel Athens Hotel
The first full day of your tour starts with a tour of the historic city of Athens. Your first stop is the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games were held in 1896. From there, our tour continues and we see a host of famous historic sites such as Hadrian’s Arch, the Temple of Zeus, the Academy, Parliament, the National Library, the University, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier and Constitution Square. Later, we visit the Acropolis – the most notable architectural feat of Athens in its prime. Here, you’ll see the famous Temple of Athena, the Propylaea and the Erechtheion. Last, but definitely not least, you’ll see the awe-inspiring Parthenon.

We set sail early and cross the incredible Corinth Canal before arriving in Mycenae. At this magnificent World Heritage Site, you’ll visit the famous Lion’s Gate, the royal tombs and see the home of the mythological king of Mycenae; Agamemnon. We then depart for Greece’s ancient capital city of Argolis in its dramatic setting at the base of a cliff, where you’ll see the vast Palamidi fortress. We then continue to visit the ancient Epidaurus theatre, where the natural limestone rock of the amphitheatre famously act as acoustic traps and amplify voices on stage. Later in the evening, we arrive in Olympia, where we’ll spend the night.

After breakfast, you’ll enjoy a half-day tour of historic Olympia, the home of the Olympic Games. We’ll visit some of the most-famous sites the city has to offer, including the altar of the Olympic flame, the Temple of Zeus and Hera, the statue of Hermes, and the Stadium. After our tour, we continue our journey, which takes us over the breath-taking Rio-Antirio Bridge and into Delphi.
Overnight in Delphi at the four-star Amalia Hotel

Once the centre of the ancient world, Delphi is home to a host of fascinating sites, and we’ll visit the famous temples of Apollo and of Athena, as well as the Castalian Spring. We’ll then tour some of the museums, including the Archaeological Museum of Delphi, which is home to one of the biggest collections of ancient Greece’s masterpieces. Later in the day, we return to Athens, where we’ll spend the night.
