Ranweli Holiday Village

Hotel Overview

This eco friendly resort inhabits a 220 acre peninsula of golden sand, surrounded by beautifully tended palm gardens and winding lakes! Most importantly, the holiday village is on land that was originally a coconut plantation, and it makes sure to emphasise this aspect of the areas identity through each bungalow having been spaced between the coconut trees. Staying here not only provides a solitary retreat and exotic environment, but it also acts as a representation of authentic Sri Lankan culture, therefore giving guests an experience that is truly unique to the destination! There are 4 different types of accommodation, with a choice of 40 deluxe sea view bungalows, 26 standard sea view bungalows, 12 standard rooms and 1 suite. All have been built with local materials so that they resemble a traditional Sri Lankan village. They are also facilitated with air conditioning, private bathrooms, ceiling fans, a telephone and an individual safe locker. Any extras on top of this depend on the type of room!
