Hotel Overview

Cape Weligama is a collection of intimate private residences and villas, its terracotta roofs giving the impression of a traditional Sri Lankan village.

Inside are stylish interiors, and luxury accommodation. It inhabits 12 manicured acres on top of a spectacular promontory rising 36 metres above the Indian Ocean. The retreats offer beautiful panoramic views of the sea. The sunsets here are truly unforgettable!

The Residences are set within a stone ringed Watta (the Sinhalese word for ‘garden’) each with its own 15x4 metre swimming pool. There are two beaches - West Beach is accessed via a specially built staircase and is virtually private. East Beach is next to the Dive Centre, a 5-minute walk from the resort.

 

Cape Weligama Hotel Rooms:

The 40 private Residences and Villas all overlook the Indian Ocean, with private butler services, individual gardens, dining and spa facilities, and a private terrace. Each is air-conditioned and has a shower and free-standing bath tub.
