Hotel Overview
Built with an Ottoman influence, the Altin Saray Hotel perches upon the headland overlooking the bay, with Kusadasi?s twin peninsulas ? Yilanci Burnu and Guvercin Adasi (Pigeon Island) ? located either side. Aesthetically, this is perhaps the most charming hotel in the whole of Kusadasi, the terracotta tiled roofs, stucco rendering and traditional mosaics implying a more authentically Turkish experience. At its centre is an uncovered atrium, onto which many of the rooms? front doors open, with a pool and small fountain ? a perfect space for killing a few minutes waiting for more tardy travelling companions.Amenities include a swimming pool, terrace restaurant, poolside snack bar, indoor bar and breakfast area. There are spa facilities, including a sauna, hot tub and Turkish bath, with massage treatments available (all payable). Rooms are individually heated and air conditioned and come equipped with a hairdryer, satellite television, radio, telephone, internet access and a balcony, as well as a safe. All rooms have either tiled or laminated parquet flooring.Guests will find a range of historical sights at their disposal, such as the ancient ruins of Ephesus (near Sel?uk, 10 miles inland) and Kusadasi itself has much to offer in the way of shops, bars and restaurants, as well as its beach, harbour and marina ? all within a mile of the hotel. All in all, the Altin Saray makes for a charming base from which to explore the area.
