Fly direct to Cyprus

The borders of North and South Cyprus have been open since the later part of 2003, upon plans to enter Cyprus to the European Union. Transfer times from Larnaca to Kyrenia are approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, whilst Famagusta is shorter at just under an hour. Direct Traveller also offers flights from Bournemouth and Edinburgh to Paphos airport for those even further afield, ensuring that wherever you are in the UK, you will be able to travel comfortably to North Cyprus. Paphos flights are direct but transfer times are longer than Ercan and Larnaca.

Fly via Turkey

The more conventional route to North Cyprus is to fly to Ercan airport, with flights touching down in Turkey for approximately 40 minutes. Note: There is no change of aircraft required while you remain seated during the courtesy touchdown.

Although flying time is slightly longer than travelling to Larnaca, transfer times from Ercan airport to Kyrenia and Famagusta are only approximately 40 minutes.
