Can you help make a difference?
Direct Traveller invites you to visit North Cyprus and take part in our 12 mile Orchid Walk in the Kyrenia Mountains, to help raise money for research into Prostate and Breast Cancer.
*Raise £1000 in sponsorship money for this good cause and get to travel to North Cyprus for just £50 per person. This includes a 7ngt package with flights, B&B accommodation and return transfers.
It seems that everyone has been touched by Cancer in one way or another.
The four most common cancers - breast, lung, colorectal and prostate - accounted for more than half of the 245,300 new cases of malignant cancer (excluding non-melanoma skin cancer) registered in England in 2007. Of the total number of new cases, 123,100 were in males and 122,200 in females. Breast cancer accounted for 31 per cent of cases among women and prostate cancer for 25 per cent among men.

Why should I do the walk?
The walk is an amazing experience that does not fail to move people who have done it, and talk of it as being a life changing experience. All participants travel together, walk together and share one another's experiences. Furthermore, the feeling of knowning that you have made a difference to those who have been affected by Cancer is a reward in itself.
How do I take part?
Each walker is asked to fundraise a minimum £1000.00 to take part in the walk. We will take care of all your travel arrangements, hotel and transfers. The trip will take place between the 17th-24th February 2011, with the walk scheduled on Sunday 20th February 2011. Call now to register, and then you can start collecting your sponsorship.
