Larnaca
Larnaca is one of the oldest cities in Cyprus, meaning that it has many historic sites to offer. With its large marina, Larnaca is popular for yachts. The palm tree-lined promenade of Larnaca harbour, home to many restaurants and café bars, is attractive to locals and tourists alike. The must-see attractions include the Church of Lazarus, the Larnaca fort (built and used as a prison in 1625), the Kition ancient kingdoms dating to the 13th century and also the camel park which is popular with families.

Protaras & Pissouri
The popular Protaras holiday resort is located on the east of Cyprus, only a few minutes’ drive from Ayia Napa. It’s a good spot for those who like the sands, being home to a Blue Flag beach. The nightlife here is much quieter than Ayia Napa and the resort is more intimate. With quiet restaurants and café bars, it is particularly suitable for families and couples. Other attractions include the strolls across the cliff tops, and a hike to Ayios Ilias Church.
The delightful Cypriot village of Pissouri has kept all of its charm and true Cypriot identity. It is less-developed than the other resorts of Cyprus. It offers a few tavernas, some shops and a couple of hotels. This is a good spot for a relaxing holiday, with a chance to get closer to the locals. Attractions include a visit to Aphrodite’s Rock, a few miles west of Pissouri, the Gothic-style Church of Apostle Andrea….or even just a coffee with the locals. Back to the top
