Itinerary
Day 1 – The Istanbul City
Istanbul awaits you! When you arrive, we will take you to your hotel so you can make the most of any remaining time in this amazing city. Why not visit the bars and restaurants of the modern side of Istanbul or even take a trip to the amazing spice bazaar?
Day 2 – Istanbul’s Old Quarter
Enjoy our breakfast, as you have plenty to see today! A wonderful guided tour of one of the most fascinating cities in the world. A city that encapsulates both Asia & Europe in one. See Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, the Old City, Aya Sofya and Hippodrome.
Day 3 – Battlefields of Gallipoli
Today you will be travelling to touching place of history in Turkey, where the tour visits the WW1 Gallipoli Battlefields. Sights of note include Lone Pine, Memorials of Chunuk Bair as well as Johnston’s Jolly and the Gallipoli Museum. There are also many originally built trenches and an array of tunnels which will truly remind you of the historic struggle of Gallipoli. After such a historic guided tour, you will once again travel to Canakkale for the overnight stay.
Day 4 – Pergamum Acropolis & Legendary Troy
Step back to a legend this morning visiting the famous Trojan horse of Troy. before touring the superb Pergamum Acropolis. The temples located here along with its library led to Pergamum being a force in its own time both culturally and politically and makes an impressive mark on every visitor. After dinner you travel to the lovely coastal Kusadasi town where the night will be spent.
Day 5 – Ancient Ephesus City and Kusadasi.
Take yourself back into time as you enjoy a guided tour in Ephesus. Visit Artemis temple, the Theatre and the and let the historic city take you into a time zone. Later visit Sirince the old Greek village tasting the traditional wines made from fruit. After this we visit a traditional carpet making village ad learn how carpets are made by hand, and what sets quality apart, giving value to each hand-made carpet.
Day 6 – Ancient Hierapolis & Pamukkale
After breakfast, enjoy a presentation of more handcrafted items, this time leather products, followed by visiting Pamukkale’s amazing white terraces made of calcium. Tour ancient Hierapolis city. Immerse yourself in the natural mineral waters of the therapeutic hot springs of the Roman times, while you admire the ancient columns.. a perfect day before your overnight stay.
Day 7– Bursa City & Istanbul
Visit the exquisite Silk Bazaar and the well-known Green Mosque. Admire the views of the scenic agricultural parts of Turkey and ancient Bursa, one of the largest cities in Turkey. After experiencing such a lovely city, the tour will head back north before your final night in Istanbul.
Day 8– Istanbul City
After breakfast, the tour will conclude and you can say your farewell to your newly found friends, including the tour guide. Transfer to your airport for the return home.
