Itinerary
Day 1: Kusadasi
Participants in this tour arrive in Kusadasi, check in to their hotel, and have the remaining day to explore the town and harbour at their leisure, before being introduced to their guide and other travellers in the evening.
Day 2: Ephesus and Kusadasi
Visit the Temple of Artemis today and take in the history that surrounds you. Enjoy a tour of Ephesus antique city with its theatre. We then move on to Sirince village. a quaint village that is well known for its organic fruit wines. If that's not enough today, we then visit a carpet weaver to learn the tricks of the trade, and how the carpets are woven and even what gives them their price.
Day 3: Pamukkale and Heirapolis
The day starts with a local leather seller where you can see a display of locally made leather products. We then venture off to Pamukkale area and see the snow white travertine's it has. An amazing site, we then move shortly over to the Hierapolis antique city from the Roman era. Have a swim in the Roman bath among the columns, which is a treat and enjoy the spring's natural benefits Tonight we stay in Pamukkale.
Day 4: Silk Road and Konya
its the Silk route we are trailing today and taking a pause at the Sultanhani Caravansaray, a historic place where travellers would once stop. We are also visiting the museum of Mevlana in the Konya region en-route to Cappadocia. tonight you can rest or enjoy an optional Folk night where Turkish dances will take place for some live entertainment.
Day 5: Cappadocia
Its Cappadocia all the way today. From the valleys of Goreme Valley which itself is considered as a museum in open air. We also see the Fairy Chimneys of Pasabag, and explore the multiple underground levels of the hidden city. We spend our night in Cappadocia.
Day 6: Ankara
You cannot visit turkey and not see the capital city Ankara. We make our way to the city and visit the famous Ataturk's Mausoleum also. Now it's time to sit back while we drive to Istanbul to stay the night. At this point you can choose to take an optional Kayseri to Istanbul flight so that you save the time for Istanbul.
Day 7: Istanbul
After breakfast you will be brought to the airport to take your flight home.
