Itinerary
Day 1: Saturday
You’ll arrive at Opatija harbour, where you’ll board and meet your crew before we set off to our first destination – the magical island of Krk. There will be time en route to stop in one of the many tranquil coves or bays, where you can enjoy your first swim in the temperate, turquoise waters of the Adriatic Sea. We spend our first night it Krk, where the combination of ancient cathedrals, dense forests, secluded beaches and lively cafés give it a feeling that is uniquely Krk.
Day 2:Sunday
We embark on our first bike tour of the trip, which takes you on a 23km meander through aromatic vegetation and impressive forests as you climb the gentle hill through Punat and further to Vrbnik. The town of Vrbnik sits exquisitely perched on a tall limestone outcropping. From here, you can enjoy the stunning views and sample the famous local ‘golden wine’; Žlahtina. Our cruise then continues to the romantic setting of Rab Island, where you’ll spend the night. Take some time to explore the historic Romanesque churches and palaces, discover inspired local art, or simply relax and soak up the atmosphere.
Day 3:Monday
Our first hike takes you to Kamenjak hill, which at 409m up, provides panoramic views well-worth the four hour walk. We then return to the ship where lunch will be served on board, followed by an optional walk through Komrcar Forest Park’s winding pathways, surrounded by ancient trees – a beautiful and truly serene place. We return to the ship to enjoy the Captain’s Dinner party on board, and spend the night in Rab.
Day 4:Tuesday
We depart early for a scenic cruise which takes you past the whitewashed homes of Barbat and the striking rock formations of Palit, back to Rab, where you can enjoy another stunning bike tour of the area. We enjoy lunch on board as we cruise to Pag Island, famous for both its expertly crafted lace and cheese. Take some time to explore the island, and be sure to sample the Pug cheese along with some locally-made wine.
Day 5:Wednesday
Our cruise continues as we head towards Mali Lošinj, with time for a laid back stop to enjoy lunch and a swim en route. You’ll enjoy a spectacular hike from Mali Lošinj to the viewpoint at Sveti Ivan Mountain where you can bask in the panoramic views of the sun-kissed island and the azure Adriatic beyond. From there, we continue to Veli Lošinj, characterised by dense forests and clear deep pools, for a well-deserved swim. We then head back to Mali Lošinj where we spend the night.
Day 6:Thursday
We head out early on a 24km bike tour that takes you to the small fishing village of Nerezine, where ancient churches and historic houses are scattered across the landscape. We then continue to Osor, where a narrow, picturesque channel gives way to a startlingly beautiful bay. In the afternoon, we’ll continue our cruise towards Cres, with time for a lunch and swim stop on the way. Once in Cres, the evening is yours to explore the island, which is steeped in rich culture and history. Although inhabited since the Stone Age, the island remains largely untouched, making it a gem of natural beauty and tranquillity.
Day 7:Friday
Spend the morning enjoying a 10km bike tour around the picturesque town of Cres, and take some time to visit the St. Francis Monastery, with its sacral art museum before exploring the many shops and cafés dotted near the seaside. We then enjoy lunch on board as we depart Cres for Lovran, where a two-hour walking tour along the famous Franz Joseph promenade takes you to Opatija. Spend some time relaxing or visit the local restaurants to sample some resident delicacies before we spend our last night here in Opatija.
Day 8: Saturday
We enjoy a final breakfast on board and say our goodbyes before disembarking for departure.

- Cabins include private shower/toilet (3rd bed possible on request), beds are mostly bunk beds & with an air-conditioned salon. Included services: evening meals: continental breakfast , lunch ; 1 bottle of water /day/person; 2 bathroom towels. Under deck cabins are in the hull of the ship below the main deck.
