Check-in can commence from 15.30pm onwards. Tonight you will be anchored at Rhodes Harbour where you will enjoy first dinner with everyone.
Sailing to Tilos today, which is surrounded by rocky and high mountains, steep coasts, and crystal clear beaches. A fascinating town of Medieval castles, a Byzantine monastery, small churches and the deserted village of Mikro Chorio which is now declared by the ministry of tourism as a cultural monument. Another captivating area of interest is the Charkadio, a cave full of paleontological discoveries like the famous elephant fossil bones – this is the place where the last elephants of Europe once lived. The dwarf elephants were here 45,000 years ago and disappeared 4,000 years ago. Overnight will be in Tilos Harbour.
In the morning we will start our cruise to Symi, of which we will also anchor overnight . One of the prettiest islands in Greece – ensure to have your camera on standby. You will get an opportunity to swim lots today with stops at many little bays. Dinner will be served onboard, however, should you wish to take your taste buds to one of the local Greek travernas please inform your captain in advance.
A busier schedule today, with our first stop being Panormitis which is located on the southern part of Symi. On route, you will have a lunch and swim stop at one of the beautiful bays. You will get a chance to visit the Archangel Michael Monastery – a Greek Orthodox monastery dating back to the early 18th century which is still inhabited by monks today. The monastery attracts visitors from all over the world. Overnight stay will be a Panormitis Harbour.
Today, we continue our cruising along the coast around Symi Island. Depending on the weather conditions, we will continue to the bays around Bozburun.
On route to Bozburun, you will stop in one of the many tranquil inlets on route to have breakfast and a swim stop. The town is a small fish village, peaceful and picturesque. It was once renowned as the sponge-fishing capital of Turkey. You will have time to venture out and explore the port and village, and make sure you pick up some of that much sought for Turkish delights. Overnight stay will be in Bozburun.
