Itinerary
Day 1 – Istanbul
Arrive and be transferred to the hotel. You can discover some of the city as you please. Wonder, grab some food and then rest overnight in a city hotel.
Day 2 – Old City Istanbul
After a hearty breakfast we’ll set off on a guided tour of the city, and there’s certainly a lot to see due to it spanning two continents and being gull of exciting historical sites such as the Aya Sofya, Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome, Topkapi Palace.
Day 3 – Cappadocia & Ankara
After enjoying a scrumptious breakfast we’ll drive towards Ankara- the Capital. Anitkabir, the famous Mustafa Kemal Ataturk's Mausoleum will be visited and then continue onwards to enchanting Cappadocia.
Day 4 – Underground City & Goreme
You can gaze in awe at the lunar landscape with a fully guided tour of the Goreme Valley and its mystical fairy chimneys, also Uchisar castle. We explore the many levels of an underground city and more.
Day 5 - Pamukkale & Konya
We leave Cappadocia taking the same path as the old businessmen once did, venturing along the ancient Silk Road and visiting the Sultanhani Caravansary along the way. Lastly we stop at the Mevlana Museum of Konya.
Day 6 – Aphrodisias & Pamukkale
It’s history galore today! Included in this day is Apollo temple, the Hierapolis, and Necropolis. Once you have taken all this in we will be going onto white washed Pamukkale calcium terraces, and then onto Aphrodite temple in Aphrodisias.
Day 7 – Ephesus
Today you have the chance to experience even more fascinating history, with the tour stopping at perhaps Turkey’s most famous of sites: Ephesus. There is also the chance to see Artemis temple, which is full of the mysticisms of a historic city and includes a theatre. Next up is the former Greek village of Sirince, which is famous for its fruit wines, and then a trip to a carpet village where you’ll learn how the traditional carpets are made by hand and what determines their value. We then drive to Izmir.
Day 8 – Marmaris
We’ll have some breakfast and then head towards Marmaris. The rest of the day is yours for exploring whatever you wish. Overnight stay is in Marmaris
Day 9 – Marmaris
Today we will board a traditional Gulet in Marmaris harbour at 5pm. You will have a pre-departure information meeting and enjoy a complimentary welcome beverage. Settle in and get a taste of the onboard dinner. You will stay at Marmaris harbour overnight.
Day 10 – Marmaris
After enjoying breakfast we will cruise over to Ekincik. take in the breathetaking scenery of Izturu beach known for loggerhead turtles. Move onward to Caunos historic city and enjoy a boat trip on beautiful Dalyan river. you will see the rock tombs of the Lycian and enjoy the hot springs with the mud baths.
Day 11 – Kizil Island
Its time for a world class beach Oludeniz beach by the blue lagoon. you will have time for a splash and some lunch at this location. we move on to the island of Gemiler. Here we recommend you go for a pleasant stroll to St. Nicholas church from Byzantium times.
Day 12 – Fethiye
Unfortunately its the last day. After enjoying breakfast we will then cruise over to Turunc Pinar and move on to Fethiye harbour so you can come off the Gulet to disembark for your onward journey.
