Itinerary
Guests alight in Istanbul on day 1 of this tour, whereupon they are transferred onto an overnight bus bound for Coppadocia. On arrival, guests are given time to book into their hotel in preparation for the start of the northern leg of the tour, which will commence at 9.30 the next morning.
The first scheduled stop is in Esentepe followed by a visit to Uchisar Castle. After that there’s a trek through the Rose Valley and then lunch in Cavusin, coupled with a lesson in the art pottery making. Next stop is the Pasabag Fairy Chimneys, followed by a visit to the Dervent Valley and a taste of the local produce at the Urghup Winery.
Day 2 starts in Pigeon Valley prior to heading west for a light trek through the Ihlara Valley, and then passing through the villages of Selimiye and Yaprakhisar. Before lunch there’s time to visit the location of some of the scenes featured in the film Star Wars. The afternoon involves a trip to the Derinkuyu Underground City, before being transferred back to the bus station from where participants can move on to your chosen destination.
