Itinerary
Istanbul - Day 1
It's Istanbul time! When you arrive, you will be checked into your hotel and have the rest of the day to enjoy the delights of Istanbul at your desire.
Istanbul's Old City - Day 2
The first day of your tour begins with the Old Istanbul city tour, where you will see the captivating attractions of the Sultan Ahmet area and more, such as Hippodrome, The Blue Mosque, St Sofia, and the Topkapi Palace.
The Gallipoli Battlefields - Day 3
Modern history can be an emotional theme, and Gallipoli is no exception. Visit the battle grounds of World War 1 and see originally dug tunnels and trenches of the time. Visit Anzac cove and Gallipoli Museum, and various memorials such as Chunuk Bair and Lone Pine in Gallipoli. Tonight for resting we will stay in Canakkale.
Acropolis of Pergamum & Troy - Day 4
We have all heard about the legend of Troy, and so it is time to visit the great Trojan horse. We then move onto the Acropolis in Pergamum, visiting the amazing library and Temple. This evening we will be staying at Kusadasi harbour town, where you can rest or explore the town's nightlife.
Ephesus & Kusadasi - Day 5
Ephesus is one of the most important historic sites in the world, and so we can pass by and not visit! You will se Ephesus with its theatre and ancient Artemis Temple left over from the classic eras. The day does not stop there as we go to Sirince village where the locals love a touch of wine. Try their organic fruit wines, locally made. Definitely worth a taste! Check out the local carpet weaving experts and see what makes a great carpet. Find out what sets the price of these world famous items.. Who knows you may use it to your advantage if you choose to go late-night souvenir shopping in Kusadasi tonight.
Pamukkale & Hierapolis - Day 6
Today's attractions start with a trip to see the local handmade leather items. We then drive to Pamukkale. We are sure you have seen this area in photos, so its time to see it for yourself. The amazing white washed calcium Travertines make very unique spectacle. If the day is getting warm, then no worries, we are heading to ancient Hierapolis city where you can go for a swim in the Roman ruins amongst the columns, now that's something unique. the hot springs, also have therapeutic assets so dive in. Our evening is spent relaxing in Pamukkale.
Aphrodisias & Fethiye - Day 7
Its time to drive south to the Mediterranean, and well worth it, as we visit on of the oldest attractions of Turkey - Aphrodisias. Take in the atmosphere among the Cypress trees and fields. We stay tonight at Fethiye harbour town.
Fethiye - Day 8
You can relax today in Fethiye at your own leisure or take an optional tour of the gorgeous 12 islands at the Gorge of Saklikent which is the largest Canyon in Turkey.
Kayakoy & Antalya - Day 9
Today you can relax in the morning as we take off late afternoon to Antalya resort via Kayakoy village, a deserted former Greek village. We will spend our night in Antalya.
Aspendos & Manavgat Waterfalls - Day 10
Our day takes us to Aspendos theatre, one the most well maintained theatres in Asia Minor region. Then it is on to the amazing Manavgat Waterfalls where we can relax close to the river while watching the refreshing waterfalls.
Konya & Cappadocia - Day 11
Today be ready for an early morning departure for Cappadocia – the sensational attraction everyone wants to see. We will stop on the way to see the Mevalana museum in Konya and Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi. We then move on to the historic Sultanhani Caravansary near Aksaray which translates to Caravan Palaces, where traders would stop with their animals. Tonight we will spend in Cappadocia.
Goreme & Uchisar Castle - Day 12
Goreme valley is the open air museum of Turkey, and one of the most fascinating sites in the world. We will enjoy a Goreme Valley guided tour and see the Uchisar castle, and many fairy chimneys. the evening allows for an optional Folk show with Turkish belly dancers. This is an evening not to be missed!
Ihlara Valley & Underground City - Day 13
Today, get your trekking boots on! you will have a trek of the scenic Ihlara Valley and also see the underground city's underground levels.
Ankara - Day 14
There is no visit to Turkey complete without seeing the capital city Ankara. There is also no visit complete to Ankara without visiting Anit Kabir Musatafa Kemal Ataturk's Mausoleum. Later we drive back to Istanbul for your last night.
Istanbul - Day 15
This is your day to sadly go back home. After checkout you will be taken to the airport in time for your flight home.
