Itinerary

Day 1: Gallipoli Battlefields

It’s an early start from Istanbul, heading for Gallipoli, which is an astonishing sight you’ll see in Turkey. Whilst here we’ll visit Gallipoli Chunuk Bair Memorials, World War 1 Battlefields, Lone Pine, The Nek, Johnston Jolly, ANZAC Coveand many original trenches and tunnels of the area

Overnight stay in Çanakkale

Day 2: Troy/ Acropolis of Pergamum

Today starts with a visit to Troy. This is the place of the famous Trojan horse. You then carry on to Pergamum with its library and temples. A magnificent location for historic sightseeing.

Overnight stay in Kusadasi

Day 3: Ephesus/Kusadasi

One of Turkey’s most famous of historical sites is Ephesus, which is where you’ll be heading today. This includes a visit to artemis temple and then onto Sirince village, which is sure to be popular with wine connoisseurs. We’ll also be picking up some traditional Turkish skills through seeing handweaving of carpets in a village that makes carpets.

Day 4: Pamukkale/ Hierapolis

Today starts with the perfect opportunity for stocking up on some souvenirs, as we’ll browse the local hand designed products make of leather. We then visit Pamukkale and the ancient city of Hierapolis, taking time to bathe in the natural springs among the histroic Roman columns.

Overnight stay in Pamukkale

Day 5: Silk Road/Konya

Today has in store the ancient Silk Road, where we visit the Sultanhani Caravansary and also the Mevlana museum in Konya. As a way to digest all that history there will then be a Turkish folk evening. Not to be missed.

Overnight stay in Cappadocia

Day 6: Cappadocia, Goreme, Underground City

Day 6 provides the opportunity to be amazed by Cappadocia, with the Goreme valley fairy chimnetys and the multi floors of the underground city. A true fascinating spectacle.

Day 7: Ankara

We leave early towards Ankara city and visit Ataturk's mausoleum, known as Antkabir before carrying on to Istanbul for the conclusion of the tour.
