Itinerary
Day 1: Saigon - Pandaw Cruise
You will gather at the meeting point in the morning - Inter Continental Asiana Saigon Hotel at 39 Le Duan.
A shuttle will collect you and transfer you to My Tho Port, where you will embark on the luxury vessel and begin your journey. Registration at the Inter Continental Asiana Saigon Hotel is at 10.30am at Purple Jade Bar (Level One). Lunch and dinner included.
Day 2: Cai Be
After breakfast on board, you’ll visit the village of Cai Be and its vibrant floating market, where people sell their colourful produce and enjoy time socialising. You’ll then return to the boat to enjoy a leisurely lunch and relax. Later in the afternoon, you’ll enjoy an exciting Sampan boat trip to Vinh Long and onto Sa Dec on the beautifully forested backwaters and canals. You’ll pass by a local market and the Huynh Thuy Le Ancient House, which belonged to the lover of the famous French novelist, Marguerite Duras. You’ll then return to the boat to enjoy happy hour drinks and a delicious dinner. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 3: Chau Doc
You’ll visit the town of Chau Doc, a charming old town on the border of Cambodia, which has retained much of its French style from colonial times. While the town is quaint and relaxed, its market is a well-hidden gem, and is definitely worth a visit. You’ll then visit a tribal Cham village, a catfish farm and enjoy a fun trishaw tour around Chau Doc. We’ll return to the boat in time for lunch and make our way to the Cambodian border, as you enjoy the stunning natural scenery en route. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 4: Phnom Penh - Departure
On your last day, you’ll cruise into beautiful, vibrant Phnom Penh; Cambodia’s capital. It stretches along the Mekong River and the boat provides stunning panoramas of ancient architecture and lush greenery. We’ll dock directly in front of the breath-taking Royal Palace. Breakfast and lunch included.
Add On
An optional day tour is available by coach to the Killing Fields, where over 1 million people were killed and buried under the Khmer Rouge communist regime. You can also visit the Tuol Sleng Museum of Genocide, which was formerly the regime’s detention centre.
