Itinerary
Day 1: Saturday
You arrive at sunny Opatija, where you’ll be welcomed on board and we waste no time getting your journey underway. Lunch is served on board before we stop for a swim or snorkel in one of the serene, turquoise bays en route to Krk Island. Here, you’ll enjoy a comfortable 17km bike tour of Punat, cycling through the perfect corridors of olive trees that line the streets, and past the many small sand beaches that dot its coast. We then return to the main town of Krk, where the evening is yours to explore the charming old town, its architecture, beaches, stunning marina and authentic Mediterranean restaurants. We spend the night on board in the harbour.
Day 2: Sunday
After breakfast on board, your morning bike tour takes you to the town of Vrbnik, beautifully perched on a tall limestone outcropping. Enjoy unmatched views of the coastline and explore the town, famous for its Glagolitic heritage. Be sure to sample the world-renowned golden wine called Zlahtina, which is made only here. Later in the afternoon, you’ll return to Krk, where dinner will be served on board and we’ll spend the night in the harbour.
Day 3: Monday
We bid farewell to beautiful Krk and cruise to Rab, where you’ll enjoy a 13km cycle tour of the lush town with stunning views of the endless azure-blue Adriatic. We return for lunch on board and some free time for you to explore the town’s beaches, restaurants or architecture, which pays homage to a turbulent past. For the more adventurous, Rab is home to some exquisite dive sites, where you can explore the local reefs, rich with fish and coral species. There’s an optional afternoon walk, which will take you up Kamenjak hill for what will surely be the most magical sunset you’ll ever see.
Day 4: Tuesday
We depart from Rab in the morning and cruise to Pag Island, where you’ll enjoy a 22km cycle from the town of Tovarnele to that of Novalja, a town almost entirely surrounded by picture-perfect white sand beaches. From here, we continue our cruise to either Molat Island or Ilovik Island, while you enjoy lunch on board. You will have time to explore these picturesque, quaint towns before we overnight in the harbour.
Day 5: Wednesday
We start the day off early with a bike tour from Molat to Zapuntel, a tiny traditional coastal village. We then return to the ship and cruise to the island of Mali Losinj, with a stop for lunch and a refreshing swim in the crystal ocean en route. We’ll tour both Mali Losinj and Veli Losinj by bicycle on a leisurely 11km route, which leaves you with time to enjoy a swim or a coffee at one of the local cafés. We then return to Mali Lošinj where you can explore at your own pace, discovering sites like Cikat Forest Park with its deep crystal pools or visit the aromatic gardens. For the more adventurous, there are options to hire windsurfers or kayaks. We spend the night on board in the harbour of Meli Losinj.
Day 6: Thursday
We get another taste of Mali Losinj by bike as we head to Nerezine and the historic town of Osor on a 24km bike tour. At Osor, you’ll be taken on a walking tour of the old town, famous for its many sculptures and the remains of the town wall, which dates back to the Bronze Age. Our cruise continues as we leave Mali Losinj and head to Cres, with time to stop for lunch, a swim and some sunbathing en route. The evening in Cres is yours to explore, and you’ll find that that there’s something special about this place, with its dense ancient forests and medieval architecture. We overnight in Cres.
Day 7: Friday
We take a 12km bike tour around the town of Cres, where you can visit the Monastery of St. Francis and fascinating local art museums before taking some time to relax and soak up some sun or visit the many quaint cafés that add so much charm to the area. We then depart Cres and start our journey back to Opatija with lunch served on board. There will be time to stop in stunning Lovran where a walking tour will take you along the famous Franz Joseph promenade right to Opatija. Enjoy a leisurely last evening in paradise where you can explore Volosko, a fishing village with a variety of restaurants serving the fresh, authentic, aromatic cuisine that the Mediterranean is so well-known for. We overnight in the harbour at Opatija.
Day 8: Saturday
We enjoy a final breakfast on board before bidding farewell to the crew and disembarking for departure.
