If you were to imagine the picture perfect image of a beach, your mind would bring you here, to Oludeniz. A sweeping thread of sand and shingle splays itself along the coast with those too blue waters touching the shore. There are plenty of facilities, so this is especially great if you want to bring the whole family. A strip alongside the seafront is home to a number of bars and restaurants serving local and international cuisine. If you're looking to buy a few souvenirs and gifts while there then you'll find plenty of shops also, staying open into the night so that there's no rush to catch them before they close.
There are plenty of exciting daytrips to adventure on. Boats leave from the bay for trips around the surrounding coast and can offer a unique discovery of turkey. If you’re feeling brave then paragliding is an exciting activity here, where the descent is from the Babadag Mountains to land on the Belcegiz beach. It is rated as one of the best experiences in the world!
Although a fairly small resort it does have many hotels, built in the traditional Mugla style to make you feel welcomed into the Turkish culture. There is also always the option to stay in Hisaronu or the slightly further afield Ovacik where you could then catch a Dolmus to Oludeniz. Whatever you decide this is one part of Turkey you will not want to miss out on experiencing!

A strikingly beautiful location, Hisaronu has grown into a lively resort over the past fifteen years. You can lose yourself in its guardian like mountains, scattered with pine trees. The sleepy nature of this little place will still keep you on your feet with the plethora of shops that offer a greater range than even in busier areas such as Oludeniz area of the Dalaman region. There is everything you need to be kept suitably relaxed here in Hisaronu, but still, within a close distance is Oludeniz with its mind bogglingly lovely beach and Fethiye is easily reached also. To get to these places a regular Dolmus service runs to take you where you want to go, so this resort is a great base for day trips and exploring Turkey.
Ovacik Holidays in Oludeniz
Situated at only a short distance from Hisaronu, the newer resort of Ovacik is more peaceful than its neighbour. You will find a great choice of hotels and apartments here that blend in with the mountainous scenery, so that you really do feel lost in the nature of Turkey.
Most facilities are in the centre of Hisaronu, which is only a short walk from here. For this reason Ovacik makes a perfect base for those that want to stay somewhere quiet but have the opportunity to travel into the busier surrounding areas that offer beaches, local cuisine and other activities.
