Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrive Istanbul
After your arrival in the beautiful and unique city of Istanbul. Your airport to hotel transfer awaits. Enjoy the remainder day to take in the city vibe. Make sure to take some sunset pictures over the Bosporus, the beautiful river that winds through this great city before your overnight stay here in Istanbul.
Day 2 – Istanbul, the Old City
Enjoy breakfast and then you will take pleasure in a guided tour in this aew inspiring city. Spanning two continents the history and scenery is surreal. You will visit the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofya, the Hippodrome, and amazing Topkapi Palace.
Day 3 – Battlefields in Gallipoli
This is a day of emotions and fascinating history. You will see the World War One Battlefields in Gallipoli peninsula which includes Lone Pine, Chunuk Bair Memorials, Johnston's Jolly, ANZAC Cove, The Nek, and actual originally dug trenches and their tunnels.
Day 4 – Troy, the Pergamum Acropolis
Visit a bygone era and see ancient Troy and the famous Trojan Horse. Then onto a tour of the superb Pergamum. The acropolis, temples and its library are beautiful sites that simply must be seen in this part of the world. After such a historically loaded day, rest in the beautiful coastal town of Kusadasi where the overnight stay will be. But before retiring to the hotel, make the most of Kusadasi’s beautiful sandy beaches and try some local cuisines, you won’t regret it!
Day 5 – Kusadasi and Ephesus
You cannot visit Turkey without seeing the most significant historic site in the region. Today is history day, and you will be lost back in time while you absorb the ancient wonders of Ephesus, the Artemis's Templke and its theatre. Your tour will bring you onto the traditional and quaint Sirince village, a former Greek village famed for fruit favoured wines. You will also have the opportunity to see traditional Turkish carpet weaving, and be shown what determines the value of these hand crafted carpets known throughout the world.
Day 6 – Kusadasi
Enjoy your breakfast today, as your tour comes to an end, Take your transfer to your homeward journey.
This is the ideal tour to discover the western side of Turkey in 6 days and 5 nights. A great tour for those who enjoy diversity. The scenic tour encapsulates western delights of Turkey from ancient historical sites to the wonders of past kingdoms and legends of bygone.
