The Arkin Palm Beach Hotel is also a luxury 5 star hotel with a unique Colonial feel, just reopened last year, it offers modern facilities in a charming location. Set on a beautiful sandy beach in Famagusta, near the old town, it is a firm favourite for those looking for a charismatic and boutique five star hotel with an amazing beach which renowmed for its gorgeous sunset views.

“For years we have always gone to the Colony Hotel in Kyrenia, so what a wonderful surprise to find that some of the Colony management were at Palm Beach, and made us welcome. Jackie your rep was really helpful too. The hotel and interior design is of a high standard. We had a bedroom with a balcony overlooking the sea, and was a joy to pull back the drapes each morning, and greet another perfect day. The beach has really good sun-beds with 2 umbrellas to laze away the day.

Food in the restaurant is plentiful with something for all tastes, we also attended the Cyprus Night which was great. We only spent a week here, and were very, very sad to leave when we were transferring for our second week at the Colony. The Colony hotel rooms are excellent, as always with plenty of room, and very cool with Air Conditioning, a must in July. The Maids are very good at keeping the rooms spotless, as is the whole of the hotel.

My favourite soup is Lentil, and the chefs were only too pleased to grant my request for this delicious soup. Food is excellent, and something for all tastes. I did really enjoy it more on one evening, when there was a function on the roof, we ate inside, and the food was warmer and the fare included Turkey Curry, Swordfish, and deserts to die for.

On our last day we were very sad to leave, especially when the manager came over to shake our hands, and stated we were always welcome to our second home.

Thanks to Direct Traveller we had a fantastic holiday, and are looking forward to booking for next year.”
